クレオソート（防腐剤）について

共同通信社から次のような報道がなされた。

園芸用品への使用制限　厚労省、発がん性考慮

　厚生労働省は16日、木製枕木を再利用した園芸用品などに防腐剤として使われる「クレオソ
ート油」が発がん性物質を含み、健康を害する恐れがあるとして、家庭用品への有害物質使
用を制限する「家庭用品規制法」の対象とする方針を決めた。

　家庭用品規制法の対象拡大は、1983年に家庭用の洗剤に使われていたトリクロロエチレン
など2物質が追加されて以来20年ぶり。

　16日開かれた薬事食品衛生審議会家庭用品安全対策調査会が基準値を決めた。秋に化
学物質安全部会で正式決定し、来春政省令を改正する。

　クレオソート油はベンゾピレンなど3種類の発がん性物質を含み、枕木の防腐剤として使用さ
れている。

近年はコンクリート製枕木が普及したが、古い木製枕木を使ったガーデニング用品が人気を
呼ぶようになった。（共同通信）

The K-tech started import and the sale of the used railway sleepers as a part of 

business aimed for environmental safeguard from Australia. 

These are used railway sleepers which is the recycling product that does not process 

the medicine with a tree class of the high eucalyptus of the durability. 

The K-tech differentiate these one from other used railway sleepers.

The K-tech sells it in the whole country from the Yatomi-delivery center which there

 is near the port of Nagoya.

Sale target of 2008 is 1500pcs per month.
